The first step is to be honest with myself.
I need to stop internalizing the emotions I'm feeling over the loss of our baby in September. The pregnancy was only 5 weeks along, not far enough to have told many people. Its time to take those feelings and put them to work at the gym.
3 Truths
1. I need to get healthy if I want to be able to get pregnant and have a healthy pregnancy.
2. I need to stop eating crap.
3. I need to get back to the gym.
3 Steps for Call to Action.
1. Create a menu plan and stick to it.
2. Bake the Christmas goods then package and freeze.
3. Create workout plan that is realistic.
At this time of year there is always going to be a party or an excuse to eat poorly. What I need to do is stop saying that I will start after such-and-such event, because there will just be another. Today is the day to start. Taking the first step is the hardest, even if that first step is just going to the gym.
I have the tools I need, its time to blow the dust of the toolbox and get to work.
Since it is almost bed time, going grocery shopping now is not realistic. I MUST be realistic if this is going to work. I will have to use what I have to create a meal plan for the next few days.
Wednesday Meal Plan:
Breakfast. 2 eggs, greek yogurt
Snack. banana
Lunch. Ground turkey, rice & mixed veg
Snack. Yogurt and laughing cow cheese
Dinner. Steak and potato
Wednesday Work Out Plan:
30 minutes on treadmill
Lower body - squats, lunges, calve raises
Stretch
This is a good start. Hopefully my husband will be on board, he usually is :)
Also need to take my measurements and pictures tomorrow and post them. This way I am accountable.
